This hands-on workshop is specifically designed to help enthusiastic
photographers understand the basic technical aspects of photography so they
can get the most from their digital SLR camera. Ideal for people who want to
learn which settings to use in a wide range of situations. The session
includes a mix of theory in the classroom and practical instruction touching
on photo manipulation as well as capture. Participants will have the
opportunity to shoot photographs, as well as review and discuss their
images. Bring along your camera, instruction manual, USB cable and lunch.

Ideal for people who have taken a basic course in the past, or who have a
firm understanding of the basic functions of their camera and want to take
their skill to the next level. This hands-on class will include some
discussion on theory with tips to maximise the results you get from
optimising your camera's settings making it easier to take great shots. This
class will also explore some image manipulation using programs such as Adobe
Photoshop. Bring along your camera, instruction manual, USB cable, lots of
images for discussion and feedback and lunch.
